GOVERNMENT OF JAPAN HONORS
MARK WILLNER
Mark Willner, ATSS/UFT member and former Chairman
and Teacher, Department of Social Studies, Midwood High School at Brooklyn
College, was recently honored with The Consulate General of Japan Commendation
for his outstanding contributions to the promotion of the understanding of Japan
among teachers
in New York area.
The ceremony for Mark took place at the Consul-General's residence,
4 East 67th Street, New York City, on June 20, 2006.
