the rights of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”
- Identify and discuss two efforts that have been made to help the group attain “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”
- Evaluate the extent to which the group has achieved equality today

suggestions you might wish to consider include: African Americans, Asian
Americans, Native American Indians, women, and persons with
disabilities.
